Does it make sense to sign Didier Drogba?

Gooners,
News of Anelka's signature for Chelsea as a direct replacement for Drogba is bound to create rumours. And I won't be surprised if Drogba is linked with Arsenal.
Considering that Wenger did consider signing him before, it will be mumbling in Wenger's sub conscience again with the Ivorian set to be available again.

But the real question here is, whether signing a Didier Drogba make any sense at all?

We have Robin van Persie, Emmanuel Adebayor, Eduardo, and NIcklas Bendtner to lead the line, with Walcott also waiting eagerly to join the forefront.

Personally, a very willing Eduardo and hardworking Nicklas is really enough. But the thought of having Didier Drogba burst the defences is just something too good to resist. Like him or loathe him, no one, in their right mind, would say that he is a lousy striker.

Remember what he did for Chelsea last season? He's definitely not just a one season striker. With Eboue and Toure amongst the ranks, it may be just the right place for the Ivory Coast captain to resurge. Furthermore, we have far too many games to handle.

But on paper, it doesn't make any sense to sign him. Eduardo is almost a fully fledged first team player, while Nicklas is raring for a go as well, inspiring and doing really well at the same time. Only Robin has been on the rocky road this season, while Adebayor has just missed far too many opportunities, albeit the amount of goals he has scored already.

So will Didier Drogba join us? He's not 30 yet. He's got loads of strength and an eye for goal. He won't trouble Phillipe Senderos, and one thing's for sure, he'll get us some really vital goals..

erm.. a bit different view... yest nite our midfileder seem like lack of something... we need a "brain" in midfield... midfielder seem like lost direction in attack.. cant really pass the ball to front... lost possession easily.. first half van persie and bandtner need to come back n get the ball themselves.. we need a role like fabregas tat can bring up attacking... 2nd half eduardo was the one.. but overall, i think our midfielder should do something more...

a thriller, no doubt about that...
but weekend concerns include possible injuries to Senderos and Djourou!!!
Walcott and Persie might also be sidelined but we have back for that, don't
we!

Arsenal - Birmingham delay telecast

Can someone enlighten me as to why they delay telecast this match in favour
of Chelsea and Liverpool playing at the same time? Arsenal the league leader
should surely get the priority. Sigh. But Arsenal online got live.but must
pay money. Any other idea how to get live? At the same time if I am going to
watch the delay telecast, I try not to know the result and that means not
watching Chelsea or Liverfool play because there will be a ticker passing
below the screen telling you the results of other matches including Arsenal.
