I agree about Alminia action to get the ball..... why???
When he out of his position for that ball... i was very worried either it gonna a goal or not...
..... but he saved a few heartstopping shot.. phewww...!!!!!
And both of Manure goals happened when defender had a nap... just a few second and that cost us again... always.. especially when we play against Manure, LiveFool and Chelsea..

And actually Manure was did nothing... Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo (the Actor) or Anderson (the tackle F**ker) could do nothing.. only a few attack were created... but they took every opportunity..

And I think 4-5-1 is not a total solution in every game... AW must use different formation for different opposition team... and I think 4-4-2 is the best formation against Manure with a utility player (Flamini or Diarra) for extra attacking force cum defensive strength...

If you put head to head player to Fabregas... who will suitable for that in that game???
Answer: Ronaldo the Actor? Carrick? Rooney? Tevez? Hargreaves? Sorry... wrong answer... actually, None of the Manure Player...

Shah Fabregas

What a fantastic game. I must give credit to ManU 2nd goal. It was a
good goal but lets not forget that Arsenal a young side played a great

However in a big game like this, there is still a glaring weakness in
our team. We lack a sharp shooter. We needed Febragas and Gallas for
goals, one a midfielder and a defender. Adebayor apart from having a
part to play in the first goal is once again lost. He was not a threat
at all but Ah Weng still has lots of faith in him.

Let me comment on ManU second goal. I believe it is largely to
Almunia's inexperience in such a situation. The first time he ran
out, he was lucky but this time he did the same thing and left his
goal completely open. Goalkeepers are suppose to guard their goal post
not the ball. If he rushes out, he knows he has 50-50 chance and go
straight for the ball..not hang around a striker trying to block his
path. In my opinion Almunia made a great blunder in this game. Over to
you guys....

In my opinion we played very well. Lets not compare manure with other
teams where we can pass pass and pass and expect goals from free flowing
football. Manure didnt give us much room and its difficult to penetrate
their defence. I thought Adebayor played well...yes he didnt score but
his presence was very important. Thanks to Gallas and yet again we are
proving to the whole world that we are not just a bunch of kids!

I am sure u guys read today's star. Fussguson complain referee side the home
team and that just before Arsenal score the 2nd goal there was a foul.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA….

What AN idiot of a coach. He forgot that Hleb was brought down having his
jersey pulled in the box and that should have been a penalty. He forgot
Manure 1st goal was more of an own goal by Gallas albeit Gallas is not to be
blamed. He forgot there was apparent foul on Rosiisky just before Manure 1st
goal. BOOHOOOHOO what a whiner Fussguson is.

As usual Manure played their usual game, abusive, bully, arrogant, gangster
like living up to their name as the red devils. A friend asked me where is
Manure in Carling cup. Hohohoho hahaha…they played their young team trying
to copy Arsenal but they kalah , kalah, kalah. Hahahahaha.

Arsenal-ManU 2-2

Posted by: "Embi Telshine" hasmin@telshine.com   embimag

Sun Nov 4, 2007 8:24 pm (PST)

yes, fantastic game...another edge-of-ur-seat game....atmosphere at rick's cafe was amazing....

speaking of which, i tink they shud be prepared for a big turnout like last nite, granted it happens only once in a while..it wasn't nice to see ppl seating on beer kegs..and those not seating at tables wud find it difficult to order rite, where to put the food & drinks??

and wud it be possible to put up Arsenal flags and the like? just to show dat it's an arsenal fans gathering place...dat nite got 1 guy wearing MU jersey...and last week there was a table wit liverpool supporters...and who cud forget those guys who were pissed off and argued when we changed the channel while MU was playing earlier in the season??

about the match itself, wat a dramatic finale..."Champions Pedigree" was one headline...the 2 goals we conceded were unfortunate to say the least. for the first goal, just about everyone was expecting the ref to blow for a foul...so we can say its our fault for not playing to the whistle...gallas was unlucky but almunia cud have done better...conceding a goal at the near post like dat...aiyo...and for the second, almunia was in no man's land...the defence didn't help much on dat occasion...Someone mentioned Lehmann must have been smiling...

adebayor didn't play that well again, but it was no big surprise to me...same as the liverpool game, he was alone up front...wat can he do? and he runs down and to the flanks, leaving no one up front at times...but im beginning to see why Mr Wenger uses him for this purpose....Adebayor doesn't seem to complain and get frustrated unlike some ppl...

overall we played ok i tink...their dangermen of Rooney, Tevez (esp him), Ronaldo (hensem la) and Giggs didn't do much rite?

Wat a punk dat Anderson is...

I agree..
fantastic game.

I also agree Adebayor was not really having a good game, drifting too
much to the wide position that the centre position was left empty. Only
during the 2nd half, I think AW said something to him.
As for Almunia, a few times during the game he was too quick to came off
his lines. For the goal incident, Toure(I think) was already covering
Evra, not really necessary for Almunia to dash there.
But also, when Walcott came in for Eboue, I was dissappointed and
afraid. I text my friend saying Eboue was not having a good game, but at
least he was keeping Evra in check. With Walcott, Evra will have more
space and cant expect Sagna to cover him as well. And thats what
happened.

Home game, I would prefered 3 points that 1 point, and was dissapointed
with the result. But I think the team showed great character and mental
strength in the game. To keep plugging away with attacking force and not
giving up until the last second. That is something realy special..

yes, fantastic game...another edge-of-ur-seat game....atmosphere at
rick's cafe was amazing....

speaking of which, i tink they shud be prepared for a big turnout like
last nite, granted it happens only once in a while..it wasn't nice to
see ppl seating on beer kegs..and those not seating at tables wud find
it difficult to order rite, where to put the food & drinks??

and wud it be possible to put up Arsenal flags and the like? just to
show dat it's an arsenal fans gathering place...dat nite got 1 guy
wearing MU jersey...and last week there was a table wit liverpool
supporters...and who cud forget those guys who were pissed off and
argued when we changed the channel while MU was playing earlier in the
season??

about the match itself, wat a dramatic finale..."Champions Pedigree" was
one headline...the 2 goals we conceded were unfortunate to say the
least. for the first goal, just about everyone was expecting the ref to
blow for a foul...so we can say its our fault for not playing to the
whistle...gallas was unlucky but almunia cud have done
better...conceding a goal at the near post like dat...aiyo...and for the
second, almunia was in no man's land...the defence didn't help much on
dat occasion...Someone mentioned Lehmann must have been smiling...

adebayor didn't play that well again, but it was no big surprise to
me...same as the liverpool game, he was alone up front...wat can he do?
and he runs down and to the flanks, leaving no one up front at
times...but im beginning to see why Mr Wenger uses him for this
purpose....Adebayor doesn't seem to complain and get frustrated unlike
some ppl...

overall we played ok i tink...their dangermen of Rooney, Tevez (esp
him), Ronaldo (hensem la) and Giggs didn't do much rite?

Wat a punk dat Anderson is...

What a fantastic game. I must give credit to ManU 2nd goal. It was a
good goal but lets not forget that Arsenal a young side played a great
game. Arsenal was higher in terms of possession.

Once again Alex Ferguson is starting his useless comments and ranting,

All I can say is............. get over it fergie......u had lots of decisions go your
way and also your fair share of luck esp the first goal.
Which I feel should never have been scored,

in fact a freekick should have been given for a foul on Hleb.

Once again he has started to say referees are "anti" Man United
Rubbish, I hope that the FA should looks into his comments.

Fergie I think should be spending his time giving his defenders the
hair dryer treatment after twice losing the lead at the emirates

Fergie was also saying we played route one football?? Pumped ball into the box????
I like the sound of that. it shows that we've learned to incorporate every aspect
of football into our game in order to win.

As for refereees being influenced at the emirates, What about no penalties at Old Trafford
about time u had the table turned on u,

Fergie has to remember what goes round comes around,
He Just cannot accept that his team had been turned over

He has to understand that this arsenal team has a never say die attitude,
and I beleive THAT is the hallmark of champions.

I think Arsenal were robbed by Webb of all 3 points, they played the better football,
had 2 very good penalty shouts denied by Webb, 1 hand ball and one more shirt pulling in the box

Fergie's a great manager but still has not learned to stop moaning,
when his team are out played and out thought.

Howard Webb I still cannot understand why he did not give Anderson a yellow card,
as Anderson was trying to get the ref to book an Arsenal player
which the FA have told refs to clamp down on.

Talking to many people the general consensus was that the ref,
was a little bit in United's favour.

He did not do a very good job he was giving United more than he should have.
Yet again, there won't be much done by the FA as they don't like to punish Fergie.
If it had been Wenger then you can be sure there would be at the very least a fine for him out of it.

Dear Suku

We can't point the finger to the ref at all, as he has done the right thing in awarding us a legitimate goal scored by Gallas on the dying minutes, the most important decision of all compared to awarding Andy a yellow card.
As for I am in the opinion as overall Webb has done a fantastic job compared to his previous game at Liverpool and the likes of Mike Riley and Steven Bennet.

Ah Feng has no reason to complain or moan abt the late goals, on neutral point of view, there are no important decision went against him and the goal scored was within the added time.

Most of us do feel disgrunted we have not won the matches instead conceeding silly goals. Almunia has probably learned a lession of being a clown and doing stupid things that caused the team especially in the second goal. We can't afford to conceed silly goals like this.
That is part of the game and we have to accept it end of the day as fans

I thought it took great guts for the linesman to call the goal. Credit
to him. At least we (fans) dont need to bemoan the missed goal this week.

My thoughts apart from those already voiced out by some on Sir
Sourpuss rants on unfair treatment, is that I believe Arsenal would
have won the match with style if RVP was around.

Adebayor did a good job of winning some aerial route one balls (I
loved it!) but Helb was too far to help at times with his defensive
duties.

I shared in my blog that last season I would be bitting my nails in
the last ten minutes after the team conceded a late goal. This season
I was totally relaxed and I saw the fans in the Grove were not bitting
their nails too. I think there is a level of faith now -evident- that
this young team can score late late goals to win, or draw.

That sort of never die spirit and willingness to just pump the ball up
is what distinguish this team from last season.

It is a great time for Arsenal fans with heart problems. No more heart
attack in the last 10 minutes!

Josh Incorrigible!

i believe we once again succumbed to a big-match pressure. adebayor was
all over the place in the first half, leading to a lack of a central
attack capability each time we pushed forward. almunia's nerves showed a
few times during the game, and the second manure goal was a direct result
of this.

i'd liked to have seen walcott come in much more earlier than he did
though.

We might see Lehmann handed the glove next match since Almunia has
looked a bit out of his depth in the big games.

having said what i said about almunia, i'd still rather have him than that
crazy german. almunia doesnt throw away goals for us, and lehman's temper
and his oddball nature must be curbed before he is allowed to play again

Actually Lehmann doesn't have much more time to play........only reason is because Arsenal is winning and not losing(draw) and u get bonuses for that!

So it's actually about money methinks...

Spot on. Though we can't deny a sense of biasness on
our end for putting Cesc's goal up there, but
all-in-all it was definitely Nani's flyer for me..
Eventhough Cesc's was, compared to Stevie G's, the
more difficult to execute..

Sarsi Kumar has always been like that.. Personally, I
don't like it when he's part of the panel, be it on
Football Focus or Football Forecast.. His comments are
never encouraging, and I would feel why bother
watching when he's on the show.. Better to call in
Scott O'Donell.. then again, the show's based in
S'pore hence must get him la..

Love the fact people in the press, at times have been
putting us down.. I know the team will do them wrong
and I do hope we end up with something come end of the
season.. so this group will get the credit they duly
deserved..

Just my 2 cents

Feedback on Rick's Cafe

Posted by: "Sukumar Krishnan (FXMHQ MYS)" sukumar.krishnan@mys.fujixerox.com   sk2myks

Sun Nov 4, 2007 11:04 pm (PST)

Embi,
Thanks for the feedback in fact I have informed the management of
Rick's Cafe of the few games where we will need more tables
his reply is they do not have extra tables, I will speak to the
Bangsar Seafood manager on this matter (they are the Parent Company)

In fact Saturday afternoon I dropped by and reminded that we will have a bigger crowd,
Before the match I saw a group waiting outside for seating, I reminded the waiters to
look for more tables but they were not able to and the group left to go elsewhere.

As for Arsenal flags we can bring it over and put it up before the game,
I am getting my poster supplier to do an A Board with the words
" Rick's Cafe - Meeting Place for Arsenal Football Club Malaysia "

The guy wearing the MU jersey followed a group of Arsenal fans
in fact his Arsenal buddy called me a few days earlier to ask if he can bring an MU fan
Of course I said yes we will not stop anyone,
believe me I am sure he was more out of place than anyone there.

Other supporters walk in when they see earlier matches being telecast on the big screen
not to worry we have priority over the channels to be shown, even if there are very few of us present

I also was not happy with the very slow and wrong billing, for future games I have instructed them.
To bill immediately after serving the drinks or food. I dont want AFCSM to be blamed if someone
forgets to pay and leaves.

Guys, if anyone else has any feedback pls do not hesitate to inform me
Regards,
Sukumar

Which 3 teams do you want to see relegated?

Okay gooners,
The season is only a quarter but the bottom of the table looks very
interesting.

I know at least one team will be the instant default answer
(err..Spurs) and the other 2 teams?

For me:
1. Spurs (default)
2. Bolton (hate their style of play and Dioff)
3. Sunderland (hate Keano & would be nice to grab their goalkeeper)
