Yes..you read it right..Arsenal signed midfielder Lassana Diarra from Chelsea...not another midfielder???

I wonder why...

Is Gilberto leaving? I can't help but have that idea...

Baru I said that the transfer window sudah tutup and as per last year,
we go and buy a Chelsea player who is French(betul kan?).

I think it was always on the cards that potentially that Wenger was
gonna sign up Anelka and/or Diarra. Diarra in particular was on the
cards when Jose signed his new right back(cannot remember who) and
that took his squad in excess of one. So, Diarra, who has played
right back for Chelsea was seen as fave to go and Arsenal had been
fave to get him.

As to why? Well, I think it is to provide cover for the right back
and midfield position. I think Diarra is more of a utility player.
Arsenal has always had this kind of player kan?
Parlour.....Grimandi....to name a few.

Gilberto leaving? I am not sure about that. But I do not think he
will. Only those who is the Club Captain will leave or retire
la...Adams, Vieira and Henry. Remember, that is why Gilberto is not
Captain. We want to keep him. Transfer fees are higher for captains.
So, give Gallas the armband and we will get more for him.

On a side note, if we have Sagna, Toure, Gallas and Clichy in defence(
i guess that is our first pick back four?), then we need a French
speaking keeper too.

Have a great weekend!

promising to us to finish top of the table. hope we can meet aek athens

I think better play Sevilla kot. Our young team seems to have no fear
for anyone. Cesc and Alumunia will be psyched up against Sevilla than
against the Greeks. But the other two teams in our Group H will
entail a lot of travel!!!
