Glad to see AFCSM is going active again. My inbox is again flooded with all your mails. By the way, I agree that support for our beloved team shouldnt stop if we are not doing well. It has to be continuous no matter what happen. Some additions to our current side will definitely help. I wish to see John Carew partnering TH. However, RVP is in top form and lets not disturb that. He shall start in every match because he deserves it. Gilberto needs to work harder as im sure everyone of us realised that he is lacking some motivation. Reyes is a very talented player, but i hope he copes up with our style of playing. I think he still havent learn. I noticed many unsuccessful passing from him and he is always overconfident. I hope to see a different Reyes.
I always wanted to come to Midah Hotel on matchday but something always comes up last minute and I ended up watching at home alone. :P

Chelsea certainly have a few, but of course they are not going to loan any of them to ARSENAL.

So, if Wenger does want to try out someone, possibly even on loan till the end of the season, I'm sure he will do it.

However, he always will look at the value-for-money as well as suitability issues rather than just big names. That's a fact, and he has said something to that effect.

Of course, the player too will join based on first team opportunity. So, if Wenger doesn't sign anyone, it's more likely the right player and conditions did not happen.

But no worries, the reserve team has some good talent. Hopefully he will field more of the youngsters against Ajax in the last champions league game. No effect on the standing or seeding. Doubt Ajax will fly over the full first team too...since they've qualified and can't change the standing too.

Thanks. Take care and God bless.
Regards,
Anand

Okay-good stuff being said about Arsenal when we are winning, and thats logical.I myself felt comfort of seeing P5 W5 D0 L0 pts 15 in the Champions league----I mean this is the post Vieira Arsenal and we doing that in winter? When all these years we having winter wobble syndrome.and dropping important points, this season seems a little bit suprising-we gaining points in winter!.Yes its true we having a winning streak and that is good .But I still keeping a hope that Arsenal good run is not purely base on LUCK..After the Spurs game ,we seem improving in our scoring rate--thats because King Henry is back!-plus Van Persie hits the form that we expected from him.Reyes too is looking for his first goal since..what couple of months ago.If Benitez can be patience of Crouch so Wenger must be patience for Reyes.he will deliver.
So while the strikers department gaining back to form, the defence is dissapointing.........We let in soft goals and always seen struggling .I hope to see a more solid defence at Arsenal.Truelly Sol is not at his best and Senderos can make simple mistakes and Cygan is a horror show.I hope Wenger will look for a defending solution.Yes to check in the last 16 in the Champions League means theres where we meet the BIG BOYS and no more easy team like carTHUN.-------this is where we play to show Europe -Arsenal are a Great Team. Europe here we go!

Dear fellow Gooners,

With our topping the group, among the teams we could meet in the knockout stage, prior to quarter-finals are Real Madrid, Bayern/Juventus or even Liverpool (if they are second, cos no same country protection, as per the condition for their inclusion as Champions but not 4th place last season).

So brace ourselves for any eventuality. I wonder if fate will deal a curious match-up should Juventus be 2nd and we are drawn to meet them. Vieira back in Highbury against Arsenal! What a prospect!

Anand

Sorry to say that I don't 100% agree with you...For me we don't need a
defensive solution.
We have 3 world class CENTRAL DEFENDER.. For me Sol Campbell is far more
better than Rio Ferdinand of Manure, Kolo Toure is as good as any world
class Central defender + the most athletic player in the Premiership,
just look how he save us on one occassion during Wigan's game, and
Senderos..what is the right word I should say about him...Well He is far
more better than Campbell or Toure in the near future or bravely I can
say he will be as good as John Terry!!
Senderos single handedly bring Swiss to the World Cup. MARK MY WORD!

Everything was OK with Arsenal now..Only a bit problem with our Central
Midfielder..

Gilberto dah tak mcm dulu lagi..Dia sudah agak sedikit lemah laaaa

Fellow Gooners,

I just feel that defensively we're OK.. probably just
need some stability there.. Reyes just needs some
goals in back to back games to kick in his
confidence.. Senderos needs to get over his phobia
(after those Chelsea matches).. I think the
qualification brought him much good and he'll do us
proud in the future.. He was worth the wait for me..
How I wish Arsene would try partnering Gilberto with
Toure during defensive tactics on away matches and hit
opponents on the counter attack (like how Sven used
Ledley King for the England setup).. Or probably go
with Reyes, Henry n v.Persie as a three man attacking
force and let them go crazy up front.. remember the
Madrid setup when Zidane, Figo n McManaman were
playing together, all were switching flanks and made
the defence go haywire..

Do guys play NFC on Espnstar? Don't forget to update
your team before tomorrow afternoon.. Maybe we can
share strategies..

Regards
